The needs of every business organization and government office are unique. Whether you require the latest technology to run your applications, or utilize computer assets for several years, the disposal of technology is inevitable.

JWI's services are flexible and can help you meet an array of disposal requirements. Whether you need to meet data security regulations under FISMA, FACTA, FERPA, Gram-Leach Bliley or HIPAA, we are concerned about the environmental liabilities of RCRA and CERCLA, or want to maximize the resale value of assets, JWI has the solution.

Federal Government

Federal agencies may negotiate individual agreements. JWI is under going the necessary steps to attain two Government-Wide Acquisition Contracts (GWAC).

The two GWACs are available through the GSA and EPA and will allow us to manage every step of the disposal process. Services are available coast-to-coast and are competitively priced.

There are many advantages to using a pre-negotiated contracts including:

- Receive Most Favored Customer (MFC) pricing.
- Reduce negotiation time and cost.
- Have an audited vendor who can safely, and efficiently provide the services you require.
- Meet the "End-of-Life Management" requirements of the Federal Electronics Challenge.

At the moment JWI can handle these services required during the disposition process including but not limited to:

- Remarketing
- Recycling and Disposal
- Data erasure
- Asset Tag Removal
- Transportation
- Redeployment
- Employee sales
- De-Installation
- Donation

The contract uses a Share-in-Savings methodology to return value recovered from reusable equipment and recyclable value.

Pricing and other information is available from JWI's Federal Government Account Manager.

State and Local Governments

State and Local Governments have a lot to consider when retiring their computers and electronics. Equipment may contain data regulated by a number of laws that require strict data erasure standards, such as HIPAA, FACTA, and Gram-Leach Bliley. Tight budgets mean you need to recover all the available resale value left in retired equipment. And, heightened awareness over the improper disposal of electronics in landfills and overseas means you need an environmentally sound recycling vendor.

JWI is willing to serve any state and local government-related offices. For more information, contact our State & Local Government Account Manager.

we provide a number of services including:

Large Business

Stretching a technology retirement policy across a large enterprise can be difficult. Implementing a standardized data security policy, choosing preferred disposal partners, and keeping the budget in check across dozens of locations all pose major challenges to large organizations.

JWI can help you enforce an enterprise-wide policy. We able and willing to serve any fortune 500 businesses across North America with their technology retirement needs. From the point of pick-up to disposal, we can provide a cost-effective, secure program that meets all your legal, security and environmental needs.

Medium and Small Business

Do you have a closet full of computers? Not sure how to get rid of them? Give JWI a call. Equipment can be dropped-off at one of our convenient locations, or picked-up. We'll process them in our environmental friendly facility and make sure that none of the hazardous wastes are land-filled.

Healthcare Organizations

Health organizations have spent billions on their technology infrastructure to secure patient health information. When disposing of technology, that security is just as important. The potential loss of information from a retired technology asset could lead to severe damage to the organization's public image and potential liability under patient protection laws.

JWI's data erasure program is one part of our End-of-Life Solution. From picking equipment up, to meeting HIPAA requirements, to preventing the disposal of hazardous waste into our environment, JWI has a long history of success in managing the disposal risk of IT assets.

Education Systems

To keep their students current with the latest technology, education institutions must constantly upgrade computer equipment. Not only do frequent upgrades tax budgets, but they also create a need for retirement solutions.

Whether your institution has 10 or 10,000 pieces of equipment, JWI has the retirement solution you're looking for. Our data security service assures your compliance with FERPA. Our remarketing program helps you recover value, and our recycling program protects your environmental liability.

OEM Distributors

Cost Control is a major factor for every business. In wake of the recent electronics industry downturn, OEMs and Distributors are now pressed more than ever to carefully review R&D and capital expenditure. On top of these efforts, shortened product lifecycles have caused the rapid emergence of unprofitable, resource consuming parts and service agreements. The agreements not only add an additional burden by forcing support on several models of equipment, but drain valuable human and technological resources that could otherwise be dedicated to new product development.

JWI's End of Life Solutions help electronics manufacturers eliminate the high maintenance requirements of low value service agreements. By out-sourcing service agreements with JWI, you can concentrate human and technological resources on higher margin products and accounts, yet ensure that past clients are being served with all of their maintenance and repair issues
